I couldn't agree more. I am also a graduating senior and I cannot believe that its almost over! Your letter really portrays a quick overview of college life!
Ah, graduation! Good luck to you "in the real world." I would say\that reating a life outside of college isn't so much about "applying the informaiton we've learned" as it is applying our new-found ability to think, create and discover. We'll never know it all (as far as the concrete facts go), but we can become masters at critical thinking and information finding. Learning how to think is way more important than what you already know. It makes for a lot more fun in the long run as well. There's nothing quite so fascinating and fun as discovery.
I like this letter a lot! First, congrats on graduating. And second, this scares me. I am a junior currently and I don't have any clue what I'm going to be doing post-college. Reading this made me think about how quickly my own undergrad experience went by!
This makes me feel so sad that, as seniors, we're nearing the end. I can't believe four years of our life have flown by so fast. It's hard to think of life after living with all of your best friends. This letter made me feel so sad and excited all at the same time.
